This Week: Faces Nail Polish in Ultramarine Blue

There was a phase in my life, maybe a year or two ago, where I only wore blue nail polish.Different shades of blue, but blue nonetheless. Then of course I had the black nail polish phase and the bright red nails phase. My most recent was the nude nails phase. I'm still not sure if I'm over that.
Now I'm trying to expand my collection to contain a variety of colours. When I saw this blue, I thought back to the time I was all about blue nail polish. And you know what? I'm still a fan.
The Faces nail polish in Ultramarine Blue is a plain inky, navy blue colour. It's not matte, it doesn't contain any shimmer, it doesn't even have the glossiest finish. But I still like it. Its a nice basic blue.
It doesn't look too special in the picture above because there isn't anything special about it, and also because it was taken on my third day of wearing it -you can probably tell from the slight fading on the edges.
I got the mini bottle and I believe they retail for somewhere around Rs. 100.

Also, I do realize my nails are cut short quite messily and you may have noticed I haven't bothered filing them. I was in a hurry! But I promise I'm going to grow them out and take better care of them.
