My Travel Makeup Bag | May 2013

If you've noticed my lack of posts recently, it's because I've been out on vacation. But I'm back now and here's a look at the makeup I took along with me which is literally all I've been wearing on my face for the past couple of weeks.

I didn't bother with foundation or any other base for that matter, because I knew I was going to be outdoors and its too freakin' hot for anything layered on my skin. Therefore, just my Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Sunscreen for me.
I did wear concealer, though, and I am currently obsessed with the Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch Concealer. I used my little sample sized Bobbi Brown Illuminating Powder to set it, and it stayed put all day. Together, I think, they did a great job making me look less sleep deprived and much brighter.

I carried along my Maybelline Chai Latte Eyeshadow Palette for my brows, mostly, and just in case I felt like I need a little glitter on the eyes. And finally the Maybelline Hyper Sharp Liner and L'oreal Telescopic Clean Definition Mascara finished the eyes for me.
I didn't really carry anything for my cheeks because I didn't think I'd wear blush. So I skipped straight to the lips with my two Maybelline Color Bloom lip balms in Pink Blossom and Peach Blossom and my much loved Lakme Enrich Satin Lipstick in number 129. However, I ended up just slicking on the lip balm and using the lipstick as blusher, instead and I think it all worked out pretty well.

And that was all. I'm glad I'm back now and can switch up my makeup a little bit. Everyone likes a little change, right?
I did one of these posts back in back in November last year too, so if you want to check that out click here.

  1. I am too a big fan of neutrogena sunscreen. I never leave my house without putting it on.
