My Favourite Cleansers

I'm not a skincare person. I'm too lazy to even moisturize my skin everyday (I try my best, though!). But cleansing my skin has always been something I have given high priority to. And I've been testing out so many different ones -foaming, non foaming, mild, strong, etc. And I have finally concluded that these are the three cleansers I love. As of now, anyway.

All three of them are foaming facial cleansers. I guess it's because I'm more comfortable with them. First is the Clinique Liquid Facial Soap which I started off using as my morning cleanser. It feels so mild and doesn't lather up too much which is why I thought it wouldn't be enough for evening cleansing when I really want to get all the dirt and makeup off my face. But then I tried it once, and boy, did it work!
It took off all my makeup and didn't dry out my skin (which is rare for me). I will admit, I don't wear too much makeup on a daily basis, but the fact that it could take off my Maybelline Gel Liner which usually is a little bit of a pain to get off was really something. Which is why this product is now my evening cleanser and I'm loving it!

Next is my ever so raved about Clean & Clear Foaming Facial Wash. What I love about this is that it is so inexpensive and works so well! It is no Clinique, so it doesn't take off all my makeup, but it did a pretty good job at that too! It doesn't dry out my skin unless I use too much product. Basically, this is just simple, good stuff that I don't think I will ever stop repurchasing.

And finally, something I just started using is the Garnier Pure Active Pore Unclogging Wash. I will warn you that this is super drying and when I first tried it a few months ago, when the weather was colder, it left me with a dry patch on my cheek. Now, however, my skin is not as dry as it was then. I tend to get quite an oily t-zone, prone to spots and things and I have to really take good care so I don't break out. And this product has really helped. I use it only on my t-zone just for some extra cleansing. It has a minty, fresh scent and leaves you skin feeling cool and fresh.

With my skin clean, however, I need to give it a good boost of moisture, and I still haven't found myself a good moisturizer. I'm still looking, though!
 What cleanser(s) do you use?

  1. I love Clinque products but haven't tried this one before. It sounds really good. I really like their Superdefense moisturiser.. A review of it will be up on my blog tomorrow or Monday.
