On My Face: Nighttime Sparkles

I used to be so scared to put my face up on this blog (remember those days?) but now that I went ahead and made a YouTube channel, I'm like, whatevz. So here's my second On My Face post (the first was a Daytime Neutral look). This is basically as fancy as I get. For now, at least.

I'm currently still on the hunt for a good base which is why I'm not really wearing a proper base for this one. I do have on some of my Maybeline Dream Lumi Touch Highlighting Concealer, though. Couldn't go without that. For some reason, my face looks really pink toned in the first picture, which it isn't actually, so kindly ignore that. I did my brows the regular way with some matte brown eyeshadow.
Moving on to the eyes -I mentioned my love for a certain combination of products in my April Favourites video and that love affair is still going strong. I basically use Maybelline's Color Tattoo in Bad to the Bronze all over my eyelid and crease and once that's blended well, I pick up some of L'oreal's Infallible Eyeshadow in Endless Chocolat on a flat shader brush and pat it in an almost diagonal line from somewhere on the centre of my lid till the end, and then wing it out a little. I find this flatters my eye shape more than just casually using the darker colour on half of my eyelid.

Next, I lined my eyes with the Faces Long Wear Eye Pencil in Solid Black and then smudged it out with some matte black eyeshadow on a tiny brush. I used the same on my waterline and smudged that using the sparkly L'oreal eyeshadow. I finished off with some of my Revlon Water Tight Mascara on curled lashes.
I didn't actually end up wearing any blush at all. On my lips, I'm wearing some of the Rimmel Apocalips Lip Lacquer in Celestial which is a pale, neutral pink.

And that is all, really. Probably not what you expect when I say 'sparkly', but this is as sparkly as I get.

What have you been wearing on your face lately?
