I believe that makeup is meant to be played with. There aren't rules here. If a product doesn't work for me a certain way, I try using it for something else. For example, the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Rendezvous was a very exciting purchase for me because I had heard so many good things about this product. However, I was disappointed when I tried it on because it just wasn't pigmented enough for me and looked odd and glossy on my lips. Not my best look. But then I came up with an alternate use for it. Now I love it.
The best part, though, is that, like the name mentions, this product leaves a stain -which makes it long lasting. The sheen dies down and you're left with a more natural looking peachy tint. I really like that look.
To add to that, it smells like peppermint. What's not to love?
Overall, I'm happy with the product and I also think it will work brilliantly, just as it is, if you don't have pigmented lips and like glossy lip products.
You will not believe how excited I was when I found out that Revlon released the matte version of these in India. I haven't bought one yet, though. Because they've hiked prices and it'll be something of an investment to get one of those. But some of those shades are so pretty. Maybe I'll pick one up. Who knows?
Everytime I go into Boots I try and find a lip stain that will actually suit me! Will try these ones next :)
