Spring '12: Fashion Trends

  Every season brings with it new trends. Spring comes with so many different trends, it's almost overwhelming. But they're so much fun at the same time. Not like everyone strictly follows them or anything. But I guess it's a nice feeling to find out that something you recently bought or really like to wear is currently very in.

  So here goes my top five favourite trends this spring.

Back to Basics: One Top, Three Outfits

  If there's one thing I love to hoard on, that'd be basics. Mostly, plain, loose, single coloured tees. I love Zara for that -they fit just right. If you know what I mean. My friend once called me 'a waste of a body', because every time we went shopping, I'm immediately attracted to 'loose, identical looking shirts that are just dyed different colours'. Well, the truth is, every time I look at something like that, I can already imagine the innumerable, different outfits that I can make with that one piece.
  Yes. I love my basics.
  So, here are three tops, and three different outfits from each of them. That is, nine different outfits.

Spring Shoe Trend Alert: Ankle Straps and Pointy Toes

I love shoe trends. I just cannot seem to get enough of them. And when I see something recurring, I like to make a note of it.
Anyway, what I see (a lot) so far, this year, are ankle straps. And a lot of pointy toe pumps replacing (to some extent) peep toes. Let's see how.

Awesome Alert: Ashley Greene

Ashley Greene looks amazing in that outfit! It's the perfect neutral black/grey with a pop of colour. She kept the accessories simple but it works. Except, what's with her legs?!

Trend Alert: Leather

Do you like leather?
I certainly do. So I'm definitely liking what I see. Which is: lots of leather. On the red carpet. In the past... two weeks, maybe. From Angelina Jolie to Ashley Greene. So, who wore it the best?

Top 3 Shoe Trends of 2011

Wasn't 2011 an amazing year for shoes? Some amazing trends sprung up that stuck around throughout the year. These are three of mine (and probably everybody's) favourite ones. And the most popular ones as well....
