One Dress, Two Ways: Easy Summer Style

One Dress, Two Ways

I had an obsession with buying dressy dresses. Expensive, dressy dresses. Until one day I realized that I have so many of them and barely enough places to wear them to. If you have friends like mine, you'd know how the only places you go out to are eating places that don't require you to throw on those heels and that snazzy dress. Putting on some red lipstick is as fancy as it gets.
So now, I like to buy clothes that can easily be dressed up or dressed down.

Moving Into Fall

Moving Into Fall

Moving Into Fall by sp14 featuring opi nail polish

Can you believe summer's drifting away? So every time I go shopping now, I have to keep in mind that whatever I buy must be an easy wear for the winters too. So right now I like wearing transition outfits, like what you see above -mixing up summer and fall colours. And it's really fun! More outfits coming soon.

Black On Black (Fall 2011)

One of my favorite trends from this fall is the all-over black trend. Being a big fan of the color myself, I think this is amazing. Mix a couple of patterns and textures, and you're good!
Just keep in mind that it's all gotta be black. From your outfit, to your shoes. Preferably your bag, and I'd say your nails too. It gives you the complete effect of the look, and if you mix a couple of patterns and textures here and there, it keeps the outfit from looking boring.

Fall 2011 (2)

Yet another fall outfit. It's really fun coming up with these. This one incorporates many of the Fall '11 trends:
 Rust: on over coat
 Nude toned dresses
 Polka dots (on scarf)
 Lace (on shoes)

Fall 2011 (1)

Check it out. This is perfect for Fall/Winter this year. Simple skinny jeans and a loose sweater topped with a lace blazer. According to me, lace is amazing for just about every season.
Add a little bit of color on accessories and you're good to go!
