My January Favourites '13

 I love reading about/watching people's monthly favourites. Therefore, one of the things I planned for 2013 was to start doing monthly favourites posts. Because they are fun, and I wanted to do them.
 January has been quite a dull month for me with respect to trying out new products. Especially in the makeup department. I haven't purchased anything new, or don't remember, anyway. So these are the bunch of things that I've actually used and loved using throughout the month. I hope you're sitting down with popcorn for this nice, lengthy post.

What's in my January Vellvette Box?

 I've always wanted to try one of these subscription boxes out and all the ones that came to India were ridiculously priced. So when I came across Vellvette Box which offered fewer products, but was more decently priced, I decided that I need to at least give it one go. Therefore, I ordered the January box using the one month subscription (I wanted to test it before I commit to three months or more, even though I know they are cheaper that way).

This Week: Faces Nail Polish in Ultramarine Blue

 There was a phase in my life, maybe a year or two ago, where I only wore blue nail polish.Different shades of blue, but blue nonetheless. Then of course I had the black nail polish phase and the bright red nails phase. My most recent was the nude nails phase. I'm still not sure if I'm over that. 

 Now I'm trying to expand my collection to contain a variety of colours. When I saw this blue, I thought back to the time I was all about blue nail polish. And you know what? I'm still a fan.

Twin OOTDs: Winter Blacks and Grays

 My cousin and I like to dress alike every once in a while. It may sound absurd, but we've been doing it for years. We do it very rarely now, but it's still fun! So here's a twin outfit of the day for you.

Vaseline Total Moisture Cocoa Glow: Review

 It has been getting quite chilly out here in Mumbai and my skin tends to get super dry. I need a lotion that I can pile on, won't get greasy and will smell good, too. So here's my favourite product for these amazingly dry winters.

Forever 21 in Mumbai!

 Why isn't anyone else talking about this? Or is this old news that I just happened to have missed? Whatever the reason for my absolute ignorance may be, when I saw that poster, I was beyond excited. I mean, Forever 21 finally in Mumbai! I cannot wait.

Faces Eyeshadow Quad in Go Chic: Review

 I was never an eyeshadow person, but now I feel like I'm turning into one. So here's an eyeshadow quad from Faces that I absolutely love. What I love about this is that it's less of an eyeshadow quad and more of an eye+cheek palette for me. The two colours on the left for the cheeks and the two on the right for the eyes.
