Maybelline The Colossal Kajal: Review
One of the most hyped products right now is Maybelline's Colossal Kajal. Practically everyone I know owns one of these. Like, even people who are not usually into makeup. So I thought I ought to go try it out for myself. And now I have been using it for quite a while. So do I think it's worth the hype?

Faces Lip Butter: Review
I love lip balms and lip butters. What could be better than moisturising your lips and prepping them for lipstick? Especially for a matte lipstick lover like me. I always had a thing for tinted lip balms, so when I saw the Faces lip butter, which is absolutely colourless, I wasn't very enthusiastic about it. When I started using it, however, I fell in love with it!

This Week: Colorbar Nail Polish in Exclusive 25
I have been on a search for some nice nude nail polish, like I told you guys about before. So along with Colorbar Exclusive 42, I also got Exclusive 25. And I really, really, really like this one.

Simple, Odd Skincare- Lacto Calamine Moisturiser: Review
I'm going to go ahead and put it out there that I am NOT a skincare person. I know they say that it's never too early to start caring for your skin, but I feel like most products available today fall under the 'anti-aging' category, which I don't think I need for now, being eighteen and all.
My skin type is really weird. During the hotter months, I have super oily skin. But as soon as it even starts to get cold, the dry patches appear -which, let me tell you, is a very annoying skin type to have.
And the only skincare related product that I have been using in a relatively consistent way would be the Lacto Calamine moisturisers.

L'oreal Telescopic Clean Definition Mascara: Review
If there was one piece of makeup that I could pick and live with for the rest of my life, I think it would be mascara. Without mascara my eyelashes feel naked, somehow. That is a really weird thing to say but it’s true. I hate getting out without mascara. And as much as I am a fan of the clean, natural look, I don’t mind my mascara to be a little more than natural looking. I like dramatic lashes.

Revlon Lip Butter in Pink Truffle: Review
When the Revlon Lip Butters launched in India, I was beyond excited. With all of the hype in the blogging and YouTube world, I was finally going to be able to give this product a try myself. I originally wanted to try the Tutti Frutti shade, but it seems to be sold out everywhere. So I settled for Pink Truffle which looked like a nice pinky everyday shade.

This Week: Colorbar Nail Polish in 42 Exclusive
Okay. So I honestly don't know why some of the Colorbar nail polishes have proper names and some have this 'exclusive' with a number. Is there something I should be knowing about here? I'm not sure.
But anyway, with the winters here I was on the lookout for a really nice nude nail polish, because, believe it or not, I don't own a single nude polish. So when I saw that Colorbar had a nice range of nude-y colours, I went ahead and got this one.

Maybelline Color Tattoo Eyeshadow in Bad to the Bronze: Review
I don't think I have tried cream eyeshadow ever before and the concept of it always excited me. I always thought about the perfect shade of cream eyeshadow that I could just sweep across my lid and not care about anything else. And then the Maybelline Color Tattoos came along. I am so glad I bought this product.

Colorbar Instant Coverup Stick Concealer: Review
Concealer is something that once I got into using, it's become the one thing I can't leave home without. I had heard a lot of good things about the Colorbar Instant Coverup Stick Concealer. So I didn't hesitate to buy it. Yes, I was a little confused between this and their cream concealer. But I finally got this one and have been using it for more than two months, so I can now tell you what I think about it.

Damn you, chapped lips!
I love winters so much. I really do. It's my favourite season of all time. I love the feel of the cold breeze against my skin. I love burying my cold fingers deep in the pockets of my jacket. I love how everyone's so much calmer. I love how everything's so much more serene.
What I don't like so much?
Chapped lips. But then what are lip balms for?

What's in my Travel Makeup Bag?
It's almost the end of the vacations and I'm going on a small holiday outing with a bunch of my family. It's just a three day affair, so I'm not packing too much. So as I was packing my makeup, I thought- hey! Why not do a 'what's in my travel makeup bag' post? So here it is!
Pardon me if the pictures aren't too great. I took them really quickly. It's 2 a.m. and I leave in three hours. This is what I call commitment, folks.

Faces 5 Lip Colour Palette: Review
I have been secretly wanting a lipstick palette from a long, long time. And on my birthday this year (which was recently) when my best friend gave me the Faces Lip Set, I was super excited. This 5 colour lip palette is part of the set, which includes a bunch of different lip products.
This palette contains five shades of lip colour, both neutral and bold. So would this be the perfect lipstick palette?

Estee Lauder Blush in Potpourri: Review
I always wanted to try a peach toned blush, because I've always been a pink blush girl. So when a friend gave me this, I was super excited to try it out. And I absolutely love it!
On the pan itself, it looks like an earthy, peachy colour. But when fully blended, as you can see below, it turns into a beautiful pinky peach. I wouldn't say it's the most pigmented blush. It gives sort of a light, natural finish. It has absolutely no shimmer, which I like because it annoys me how most blushes I like turn out to be shimmery and a little difficult to wear on an everyday basis.

My Everyday Makeup
I like to keep my makeup light and easy. I go to college so it's not like I have much time to pile on too much or like I could get away with wearing too much makeup anyway. But I've really become a fan of natural looking makeup. This is pretty much all I use on an everyday basis. And I love the end result!

The High-Low Skirt
This post is long overdue. It's one that I had forgotten to publish. I wasn't sure if I wanted to put this up now, since I'm really late and high-low skirts are well established now. But I really love this style of skirts and some of the outfits I created for this, so I thought I'll put this up anyway. Better late than never, right?

Accessory Haul: Inexpensive, Awesome things
I love accessories and I can hoard them like nothing else. I believe you can never have too many accessories. Trends change, seasons change, and there's always something new to go crazy about. So every once in a while I want to go buy something new. Here's a bunch of things I bought on my last visit to my favourite place for inexpensive jewellery, Colaba Causeway.

This week: Accessories, Macaroons and Fake Chanel!
Here's a run through of all the cool things I spotted this week.
For those living in Mumbai, who else was at Candies on Saturday, the 27th? I was! They had the coolest exhibition of practically everything you could think of -clothes, shoes, bags, jewellery... And live music to go with it. It was freakin' awesome. Here's some of the things I managed to get pictures of.

Fall '12 Trends: Most wearable
It's officially fall/autumn/the end of summer. Isn't that exciting? It feels like months are flying and yet, summer lasted forever. Bright colours, floral prints, all of that -I'm a little bit tired of it now. So, for me, fall fashion is a nice, pleasant change.
Obviously, with every new season comes tons of new trends. But here are four of my favourite, extremely wearable fall '12 trends.

Update: Big Changes on the Blog
When I first decided to start this blog, this is exactly how I wanted it to be -just the way it is right now. So I am proud of it. But, lately, I have been giving this some thought. And after a lot of thinking, I decided I wanted to take this blog one step further. I want to make it more personal. More me. So what is this going to be all about? Keep reading...

4 Summer to Fall Transition Outfits
Say your goodbyes to the heat of the sun and welcome chillier weather. Same with your wardrobe. But do you really have to throw away that bright pink pair of heels or that gorgeous coral top until next summer? I'd say that'd be horribly unfair. So here are a few fall outfits that incorporate summer pieces to create fall attires.

Moving Into Fall
Moving Into Fall by sp14 featuring opi nail polish
Can you believe summer's drifting away? So every time I go shopping now, I have to keep in mind that whatever I buy must be an easy wear for the winters too. So right now I like wearing transition outfits, like what you see above -mixing up summer and fall colours. And it's really fun! More outfits coming soon.

Back to Basics(2): The Black and White Shirt
I decided to make a Back to Basics series, because of various reasons. First, I think that basics need to get the attention they deserve. Second, I got a nice response from my previous Back to Basics post. And third, I love making these!
So here for you is the second edition of Back to Basics. If you missed the first one, check it out: Back to Basics(1)
Everyone knows that a black shirt and a white shirt are wardrobe must haves -mostly because they are so versatile. So here are three different outfits using each of them.

How to: Dressy Shorts?
So it's summer and shorts are everywhere. Who doesn't love shorts for summer? But when I say 'shorts', I don't just mean pair of denim shorts with a tank top and flip flops that you wear to the beach. Shorts are sooo much more than that. Shorts can even be dressy.
Ever thought about wearing a pair of shorts to dinner at the fanciest restaurant around? If you haven't then you might want to start. Because shorts, are everywhere.

Fashion Inspired: Kristen Stewart
Kristen Stewart is someone I adore for her style. Yes, it's not for everyone. Definitely not. But she has an individuality of sorts. And I like that she sticks to her style, no matter what. I won't comment on her acting. I think Bella Swan's the one with the problem, because Kristen was awesome in many other movies, especially, my favourite, The Runaways.
As for her fashion sense, here are some of my favourite and least favourite Kristen Stewart outfits.

Spring '12: Fashion Trends
Every season brings with it new trends. Spring comes with so many different trends, it's almost overwhelming. But they're so much fun at the same time. Not like everyone strictly follows them or anything. But I guess it's a nice feeling to find out that something you recently bought or really like to wear is currently very in.
So here goes my top five favourite trends this spring.

Back to Basics: One Top, Three Outfits
If there's one thing I love to hoard on, that'd be basics. Mostly, plain, loose, single coloured tees. I love Zara for that -they fit just right. If you know what I mean. My friend once called me 'a waste of a body', because every time we went shopping, I'm immediately attracted to 'loose, identical looking shirts that are just dyed different colours'. Well, the truth is, every time I look at something like that, I can already imagine the innumerable, different outfits that I can make with that one piece.
Yes. I love my basics.
So, here are three tops, and three different outfits from each of them. That is, nine different outfits.

Awesome Alert: Ashley Greene
Ashley Greene looks amazing in that outfit! It's the perfect neutral black/grey with a pop of colour. She kept the accessories simple but it works. Except, what's with her legs?!
